On Thursday 8th December 2016, 19 teams descend on Camp Municipal de Fútbol ‘Agapito Fernández’ by Poblenou beach, Barcelona for the newest amateur football tournament: the inaugural Mini CeleBreak Cup in the hope of emerging victorious. Besides the prestige of being the first ever winners of the Mini CeleBreak Cup, the victorious side will be rewarded with 2 complimentary bottles of whatever they want alongside a VIP table at Sutton Club Barcelona. So as well as the free drink at Spirit Barcelona, a bar just off Carrer de Tuset, everyone gets free entry into Sutton later, whether they win a match or not.

The actual amateur football tournament has been organised into 4 groups, 3 of 5 and one of 4, with CeleBreak represented by 2 separate teams – CeleBreak FC I and CeleBreak II – which could prove an interesting clash if they both reach the knockout stage! Starting the day at 10 o’clock Field 1 will see the Group A clash between ESADE and Dynamo, whilst Los TARRados and Boleiros from the same group kick things off on Field 2, with all four teams looking to gain an early advantage over their group rivals CeleBreak FC I. The following matches will see Group B kick off with Chape FC vs Kis FC and World VII vs Latin Troters and then The Wolfpack vs Los COPAdos and GBS vs The Data Factory in Group C. Following that, we’ll see the first CeleBreak team in action, as CeleBreak FC II kick off their group matches against UE Balafia Inclusio I at 11:15 on Field 1, with the other action from Group D, UE Balafia Inclusio II vs Dukes of Barcelona, on at the same time.  

The group stages of the amateur football tournament are scheduled to finish at 17:05 with action from Group C in the form of The Data Factory vs Los Vengadores FC and GBS vs The Wolfpack. Shortly after the Quarter Finals,

contested between the 8 teams that finished in the top 2 of their respective groups, kick off at 17:45, before the second set of Quarter Finals kick off at 18:10. This will then determine the teams taking place in the Semi Final at 18:45, who will fight it out for a place in the final at 19:15 which will determine the lucky recipient of the trophy and prizes for Sutton later! 

The Mini CeleBreak Cup is much more than just an amateur football tournament, it offers players a taste of what CeleBreak is all about: football and partying.
